STEPHEN WILLIAMS Obituary

Life Reflection

Stephen Anthony Williams, son of the late Paul Nathaniel Williams Sr. and Paricia Ann Douglas Williams, was born January 22, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Stephen received his education in the Indianapolis Public School system. He attended Crispus Attucks and Harry E. Wood High School.

Stephen, who obtained the nick name “Wee Wee” was a jokester, and loved making people laugh. Although Stephen never had children of his own, he was instrumental in helping raise his five nieces and nephews upon the passing of his twin sister, Stephanie Williams. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and they thought the world of him.

In 2009, Stephen became a member of Light Of The World Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend James D. Allen Sr. Stephen devoted his spiritual talents serving on the Church Usher Board. Reverend James D. Allen, Sr. was not only Stephen’s devoted pastor, but a devoted friend since the age of 17. Stephen loved his pastor and his Church family.

Stephen loved to cook and spending time with his family and friends at the many outings they would have. He especially loved the barbeques and birthday parties his nephew David had, and he never disappointed bringing one of his signature dishes.

Stephen Anthony Williams answered his Master’s voice on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 10 days while at home. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Paul and Patricia Williams, sister Stephanie Marie Williams and brothers, Bert Williams, and Nathaniel Williams.

He leaves the cherish his precious memories his brothers, Paul Williams Jr., Alfronze Hardeman, and   Tony Hardeman; two sisters, Goldie Williams and Margaret Richardson; nephews, David Akers, Captain Lee Williams, and Twyman Williams; nieces, Mary Tally and Tasha Williams; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and his Light of The World Missionary Baptist Church Family.
