Mary Frances Williams Shropshire, the daughter of Tommy and Eunice Lee Garnett Williams was born June 2, 1937, in Hamilton, Georgia. She attended school in Georgia and moved to Indianapolis in 1955.

Mary touched the lives of those too numerous to mention and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary Frances Shropshire departed this life on January 12, 2022 at the age of eighty-four years, seven months and ten days. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Tony Shropshire and Christopher Shropshire; one daughter, Phyllis Adams and two grandsons, Michael DeWayne Nance and Anthony Ward.

She leave to cherish her memory three sons, Michael Shropshire (Tamara), Lenard Shropshire and Ronald Shropshire (Brenda); three daughters, Deborah J. Ward (Rev. Harold), Kimble Garnett and LaDonna Shropshire; twenty-two grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one brother, Jerry Williams (Ella) and one sister, Annie Johnson, both of Rome, Georgia and a host of other relatives, her Blessed Hope Baptist Church family and cherished friends.

Psalms 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
