DANNY LEE BURT, II

Danny Lee Burt II “Bink” was born February 19, 1976  in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents, Danny Lee Burt Sr., and JoAnn Berryhill.

“Bink” was raised in a Christian home with Christian values.  He attended Southport High School and graduated from Tech High School in 1994.  After high school he attended Herron Art School in Indianapolis and graduated from Indiana Business College in 1996. 

“Bink” was employed at UPS for 27 years.  He worked very hard to support his family and make a good home for them.  He was a caring person. He embodied a Christ-like spirit of love and compassion. 

Bink’s children were his pride and joy.  He loved them unconditionally.  The phrase “Family Over Everything” was often spoken. His family was very proud of him and all his accomplishments.  “Bink”  loved the Colts and Pacers and was their #1 fan and always rocked the latest Colt and Pacer gear.  We looked forward to his Facebook posts, win or lose he still loved them!

Danny Lee Burt II “Bink”  ascended into the outstretched arms of our Lord on January 11, 2022 at the age of 45 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Berryhill; grandparents, Alberta and Lawrence Berryhill, and Jessie Mae Burt.  His beloved youngest son, Devin James Burt passed away 3 days after him on January 14, 2022.

He is survived by his father, Danny Lee Burt, Sr.; children, Jazmine, Joanne. and Danny, III; brothers, Lawrence D. Burt of Indianapolis, IN and Terrell J. Thompson of Louisville, KY; aunts,  Addie Green (Clyde) of Oxford, MS, Alberta Berryhill, Loretta Johnson, Robin Burt, and Connie Berryhill-Easley (Herbert) all of Indianapolis, IN; uncles, Danny Morton and Corey Berryhill; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Bink was loved by his family and friends. He will live on in our hearts.  We will cherish his memory forever.
