The Société de Police - IPD Adam & Edward extends our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Colonel W. Barton III, Ofc/IPD-IMPD (Ret), on his stepping away from this life.

To Carolyn and all Bill's family, we want you to know those of us who were real close to "The Colonel" over the years, feel that as our friend just died, something of us has died.

It was written: We go to the grave of a friend saying, "A man is dead," but angels now throng about him saying, "A man is born."

For our dear departed fellow, we pray, "Eternal Rest grant unto Colonel William Barton III, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."

Dear Carolyn, I was so sorry to hear about the Colonel passing away. He was a great neighbor and I always enjoyed talking to him and you too. My prayers are with you and your family. May the Lord be with you in the days to come and give you peace.
Your friend,
Ruth Fiscus

To the family and friends of Colonel W. Barton, III we extend our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of a dear colleague.

Always willing to help in anyway.
Rest on my brother in blood; I will see you in the rapture.
