Robert 'BobE' Thomas born on October 13, 1956 was the sixth of seven children born to Sarah E Wilson and Andrew Thomas, Sr.
BobE attended Indianapolis Public Schools including Shortridge High School. He married young to Gloria "Glo" to which union three children were born.
Spending his formative years working with his father in a family business, BobE acquired skills that served him well in his many business and career activities. He worked in many occupations including painting, plumbing, and general maintenance.
BobE married his beloved Jocelyn (Love) in October of 2003. Together they guided Jocelyn's four children through their young adulthood.
BobE was well loved and admired by many who knew him through his work, social events, and his attendance and volunteerism at his church home, Jones Tabernacle A. M. E. Zion Church. Having accepted Christ at an early age, he renewed his commitment to the Lord through the ministry at Jones.
BobE was preceded in death by his brothers Lavon and Marlon "Brent" Thomas and his stepson Jonathan. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Jocelyn, his three children Antonio (Amber), Jeremy, and Adam along with Jocelyn Jr., Jordan, and Jea-Lissa Harvey; a grandson, Corey D. Thomas; his mother and father; sisters Bonita (Jeffrey Sr.) Randolph and Andrea Thomas; brothers Andrew Jr. and Anthony Thomas; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
BobE's big smile and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.
