Mrs. Bonnie L. Bertram Holiman, the daughter of Elmer Bertram and Dorothy Brent Massey, was born December 16, 1937, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bonnie attended Indianapolis Public School #37, ending her education at Crispus Attucks High School.
At an early age in life Bonnie professed a hope in Christ and was baptized.
On June 29, 1956, Bonnie entered into Holy Matrimony with Rudolph R. Holiman, who preceded her in death after forty-two years. Their union was blessed with three sons.
Bonnie was employed at the former William N. Wishard Memorial Hospital (now Eskenazi Hospital) for several years as a Dietary Specialist. She later went to work at Central State Hospital, where she applied her talents and attributes until retirement.
Mrs. Bonnie Lee Bertram Holiman departed this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the age of seventy-four years eight months and thirteen days. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
In her legacy she leaves to lovingly remember her sons, Rudolph R. (Margo) Holiman Jr., Kent C. (Lillie) Holiman and Phillip C. (Janet) Holiman; ten grandchildren, Brent D., Kent C. Jr., Destiny Symeon, Kenya, Phillip C. Jr., Charmain, Rudolph R. III, Kendall and Charles; four great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Oscar Harper and Elder Earl Holiman, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
