Ms. Beverly Ann Scott was born to Frank and Pearla R. Scott on December 14, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She attended Indianapolis public schools #10 #101, and Arlington High School.
Beverly professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized.
“Bev” as she was affectionately called worked as a cook at Butler University, leaving in 1993 due to failing health. Bev was a kind loving and a hard worker. She had a great sense of humor. She was very opinionated and full of wisdom and was always there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones and friends. She adored her children and grandchildren.
Ms. Beverly Ann Scott departed this life on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Methodist Hospital at the age of fifty-seven years five months and one days. She was preceded in death by her parents, her longtime companion, Harvey Compton, and her brother, Ronald Franklin, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Ashley Compton (Greg); son, DeJuan Compton; three grandchildren, Damonte Jackson, Daijzon Jackson and Nevaeh Ash; three brothers, Gearld Franklin (Linda) of California; Michael Scott and Jonathan Scott of Indianapolis; three sisters, Debra Scott, Jamesetta Scott and Renee Scott of Indianapolis, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
